CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS had a 3-2 win over struggling DALBEATTIE STAR. Strollers built up a 2-0 interval lead with a 25th-minute goal from a trialist, and goal ace Stephen Froud got the second five minutes later. But they had Shaun Turbull red-carded eight minutes into the second half in a stramash after Star’s Curtiss Wilson pulled one back. Strollers went straight up the field and Froud broke away and fired in to make it 3-1. Lewis Todd pulled on back in the 69th minute.

EAST KILBRIDE beat CUMBERNAUL­D COLTS 4-0. Colts had Gavin Lachlan sent off in the 52nd minute. A minute later, Adam Strachan hit the opener and Ross Mcneil doubled the score on 70 minutes. Then Bryan Punty got a third in the 75th minute and Declan Hughes made it four with seven minutes left.

BSC GLASGOW are still seven points behind Kilby despite a 4-0 win over GALA FAIRYDEAN ROVERS, with Martin Grehan hitting a hattrick. He opened the scoring in 27 minutes and scored two more in a minute, the first in the 50th minute and then went straight upfield and completed his hat-trick. Robbie Duncan got the fourth in the 74th minutes.

GRETNA 2008 got back to winning form after a midweek cup defeat with a narrow 1-0 win over basement side HAWICK ROYAL ALBERT. Thomas Pardini got the vital goal in the 28th minute, which proved the winner.

SPARTANS had a 5-0 win over VALE OF LEITHEN. They got a David Greenhill goal after three minutes and Jamie Dishington doubled the score in the 16th. Guillermo Lamarca grabbed a brace with one in the 24th minute and a second just on half-time, with Adam Corbett scoring deep into stoppage time.

SELKIRK edged out STIRLING UNI 4-3. The Souters went ahead with a Daryl Healey 15th-minute goal and Reece Donaldson getting a second five minutes later. They went three up in the 42nd minute through Ross King, but, just on the whistle, Kieron Hall pulled one back for Stirling. Then, five minutes after the turn, Dale Baxter made it 4-1 and this signalled a fightback. Rory Mcewan got the visitors’ second in 53 minutes and Aiden Peden got a third in the last minute.

EDINBURGH UNI got a vital three points with a 2-1 win over WHITEHALL WELFARE, with Jack Guthrie giving them an interval lead. Gary Nicholson equalised six minutes into the second half, but Nathan Evans struck the winner in 75 minutes.
