Diddy Man’s rainbow of laughter

“Laughter is like a rainbow,” Ken Dodd once said, and he was right.

He continued: “At the very top, there is the laughter of pure joy.

“White, if you like, and you can hear that anytime you like for free. Just pass any school playground and you see little children leaping and jumping around with the sheer joy of being alive.

“And then you go right through the rainbow, through the different laughs.

“Pink laughter, green laughter, blue laughter.

“And right at the very bottom, there’s the dark colours of sarcasm, insult, satire.

“I think laughter, a sense of humour, is the sense of seeing the funny side of life.” Brilliant. Happiness was the greatest gift this very funny and talented man possessed. RIP Diddy Man Ken Dodd.
