STAR MAN

-

The visitors did create a chance just after the restart when the ball fell for Lewis Morgan on the sixyard line but his effort went well over the top.

But they did regain the lead in 52 minutes when Morgan curled in a free-kick from the edge of the box low into the net beyond the diving keeper.

This gave Saints a confidence boost and they started to take control and forged further ahead in 63 minutes when substitute Stelios Demetriou trailed the ball half the length of the field warding off challenges before cracking in an 18-yard drive which left keeper Leighfield helpless.

Queens tried gamely to get back into the game but could make no headway against a Saints defence that were determined to ensure the points were going back to Paisley. A commanding performance from

who ruled the midfield and his tremendous curling free-kick put his side right on top.
