A great day and glamour of the guests matched it

This is the most glamorous wedding we have ever seen and the outfits of the guests stole the show, perhaps even more than Meghan’s dress.

The royal family looked particularly good. There was a real blue theme going on, including Lady Sarah Chatto who looked stunning and elegant in blue, as did Autumn Phillips and Sophie Wessex.

The Queen looked wonderful in a beautiful lime green and purple Stewart Parvin dress, which was vibrant and bright for the occasion.

Lady Kitty Spencer looked amazing in a green Dolce & Gabbana dress and Philip Treacy hat.

Earl Spencer’s wife Karen wore a simply stunning regal purple outfit. Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland wore pale green with a small pillarbox hat which was very pretty and really suited her. For her it must been quite an overwhelming experience, but she didn’t overshadow her daughter; she had absolute grace and dignity. One of the guests who really stood out for me was American actress Sarah Rafferty, who wore a navy blue Roksanda Ilincic dress with diamante. She looked so elegant.

I loved Elton John’s Gucci glasses and Prince Charles’ bright pink fuschia handkerchief – that was a nice touch. But for me the most stylish person at the wedding was Sofia Wellesley, the wife of singer James Blunt, who was in a Valentino floral dress. It looked absolutely incredible.

I genuinely didn’t see any dresses where I thought “they have got it wrong”.

Amal Clooney’s yellow dress by Stella Mccartney was phenomenal, but I didn’t think her hat worked at all with the outfit.

It was too much, she just needed a sculpted hat to show off that dress.
