Sent off in last season’s final but stayed on longer this time. Was rarely seen getting forward though.

Capable of playing a killer pass as he showed with his ball through for Hazard’s penalty.

N’GOLO KANTE (7)

The heartbeat of the team, the way the game unfolded was ideal for his method of putting out fires in midfield.

TIEMOUE BAKAYOKO (6)

Had a disappoint­ing first season in England and somewhat on the periphery in this one.

MARCOS ALONSO (6)

Spanish wing-back spent more time on defensive duty but could and should have grabbed a killer second.
