CLYDEBANK were defeated 2-1 by a BRORA side that took the lead in the 11th minute through Kyle Macleod. The former Ross County man met a cross at the back post and looped a header over the stranded Bankies stopper.

The Cattachs looked to have doubled their lead through Paul Brindle, but his curling effort rebounded back out off the post.

They enjoyed a bit of luck early in the second half as Mclean turned a cross into his own net.

A corner led to a goalmouth stramash that ended with the ref pointing to the spot. Steven Higgins netted the spotkick for Clydebank.

WICK ACADEMY gave CUMBERNAULD COLTS a three-goal start before Davie Allan and Craig Gunn ensured a close finish, but in the end they lost 3-2 to the Lowland League outfit.

FORRES MECHANICS defeated Aberdeen Junior side CULTER by the same score, with Robbie Duncanson, Allan Pollock and Craig Mcgovern scoring for the Cans.

Stevie Ross netted once in each half as BUCKIE THISTLE saw off BUCKIE ROVERS 2-0.

KEITH defeated ISLAVALE 3-1 despite going behind early in the second half.

Michael Selfridge (below) was to the fore once more, but a suspected broken arm suffered by the Vale stopper resulted in the match being ended early.

NAIRN put five goals past STONEHAVEN. Ronnie Sharp’s side took the lead when Max Ewan knocked home Dylan Mackenzie’s cross. Ewan Urquhart set up Adam Porritt for No. 2 in the 20th minute and, just four minutes on, Fraser Dingwall then got his name on the scoresheet.

Porritt claimed his second with a sweet shot from the edge of the box. Adam Naismith completed the scoring from the penalty-spot late on. LOSSIEMOUTH defeated DEVERONSIDE 3-1, with all the goals coming in the first half.

Former Buckie man Kai Ross scored the winner on the hour. FRASERBUGH took 43 minutes to break the deadlock before firing nine past LONGSIDE.

Aidan Combe, Willie West (2), Garry Harris (2), Sean Butcher (2) and Paul Campbell (2) were those on target. INVERURIE LOCOS defeated FORFAR WEST END by the odd goal in seven. ROTHES outscored DYCE 2-1, while FORMARTINE put six past a young ROSS COUNTY XI.
