In the Super League, BANKS O’ DEE put an end to EAST END’S unbeaten start to the season with a comprehens­ive 4-0 win at Spain Park. Lawrie, Henderson, Philipson and Lachie were on target for Dee. MONTROSE ROSELEA remain top of the table despite being held 1-1 at home to HALL RUSSELL. Reoch put the home side ahead early on, only for United to grab a point with a late effort from Mackie.

NAIRN SAINT NINIAN are up to fifth place in the table after coming from behind to beat MAUD 4-2, thanks to goals from Lee Haines, Conner Mcphee, Jack Anderson and Sam Walker.

DEVERONSID­E were beaten at home by second-placed SUNNYBANK in the First Division. Jordan Russell scored for the home side.

FORRES THISTLE lost 3-1 at home to FRASERBURG­H UNITED. Sean Mcintosh was on target for the Jags.

SPEY VALLEY lost 1-0 at home to ABERDEEN UNIVERSITY in the Second Division.

In the first round of the Interregio­nal Cup, BUCKIE ROVERS crashed out 5-1 at home to STONEYWOOD PARKVALE.

BURGHEAD THISTLE lost 3-0 at CULTER.

Ian Leith, Adam Mcnamee and Gary Mcnamee scored as DYCE beat ISLAVALE 3-0.

ELLON UNITED put six past WHITEHILLS at The Meadows. Bain was the home hero with a hat-trick, Johnson scored twice and Mcdonald also netted. DUFFTOWN beat STONEHAVEN 5-3. James Grant bagged a hat trick for the Moray men, with Scott Johnston and Michael Watson also netting in the 5-3 success.

NEW ELGIN were beaten 4-0 at HERMES.
