Cove rangers 8 turriff 0

Cove were too strong for Turriff, who were underdogs going into this Highland League Cup tie. However, they began with no fear and, early on, Angus Grant was one-on- one with Stuart Mckenzie. The rebound fell to Adam Cross, who blasted over.

Cove then went in front in 28 minutes, Mitch Megginson netting from 16 yards out.

Two minutes later, Connor Scully crossed for Jordan Macrae to tap home

In 39 minutes, Daniel Park chipped the ball high into the roof of the net before the outstanding Scully made it 4-0 right on halftime, rolling the ball through the legs of Hobday.

In 62 minutes, a low diagonal pass gave Megginson the time and space to place the fifth into the corner and, two minutes later, Macrae added his second.

Sub Harry Milne rifled home No. 7 and, after having three goals chopped off in the second period, Cove completed an eightsome reel at the death with Jordon Brown rolling the ball home.

Fort william 0 WICK 3

Fort William gave their fans a glimmer of hope as they held Wick Academy to a goalless first half and their goal remained intact for the opening 20 minutes of the second period,.

The breakthrough arrived on 65 minutes, Jack Halliday being on hand to knock the ball home at the far post.

Mateusz Kulbacki had performed well in the Fort goal and he brought off another fine save five minutes later only to see Richard Macadie following in to smash the rebound home.

David Allan made it three goals in the space of eight minutes when he took the ball on the turn and placed it beyond the reach of the Fort keeper.

Formartine 5 Inverurie 2

Jordan Leyden followed in to fire the Red and Blacks into a 20th-minute lead and, when Chris Angus collected a perfect throughball by Neil Mclean to slam a shot across Kevin Main and into the net, everything seemed to be going to plan for the Locos. However, a Stuart Anderson header in first-half injury-time changed the game.

Gary Wood pulled the home side level 12 minutes after the turnaround, then Peterhead loanee Aaron Norris curled Formartine into the lead. Archie Macphee doubled United’s lead, then Andrew Greig rubbed salt into the Inverurie wounds with No. 5 from a penalty.

Fraserburgh 1 Deveronvale 2

From Grant Noble’s delivery, Vale’s Scott placed the ball beyond Paul Leask from nine yards.

Mark Cowie’s men levelled when Michael Dunn was penalised for bringing down Aidan Combe and Graham Johnston punished him with a wonderful 25-yard free-kick that flew into the bottom corner.

With extra time looking on the cards Deveronvale grabbed a dramatic winner when a long ball from left back Harry Noble was met on the volley by Scott. Keith 2 Brora rangers 5

Eight minutes in, a Macaulay Rae free-kick for Keith found Bradley Manson, who placed it low past Joe Malin.

Brora’s leveller came when player-manager Steve Mackay played a wonderful 60-yard ball over the top for Paul Brindle, who ran in and slotted home.

Dale Gillespie put Brora in front with a low shot from 10 yards just two minutes after the turnaround. The Maroons were level through Manson again, drilling the ball into the postage stamp corner of the goal.

Brilliant play from Paul Brindle saw him weave through 4 players before laying it on a plate for Gillespie to sidefoot home his second in the 55th minute. Steve Mackay was given the freedom to head home his 300th Highland League goal just three minutes later, and Kyle Macleod headed home a Gavin Morrison free-kick for No. 5.

strathspey 2 Forres 5

Things began well for the Jags with Ross Naismith putting them in front, but Liam Taylor levelled with a header.

Martin Duncan then saw red for denying an obvious goalscoring opportunity outside the penalty area and the punishment was doubled when Robbie Duncanson curled the 22-yard free-kick over the wall and into the net.

John Cameron levelled just before the break, but Liam Taylor put Forres back in front.

Two minutes later, Robbie Duncanson rose to glance a header into the net, and Ross Macpherson sealed the victory with five minutes to go.

After the first-half finished goalless, a minute into the second half, Huntly’s Kai Ross crossed for Nicholas Gray, whose header crept in at the near post.

On the hour mark, David Booth slipped the ball inside for Gary Mcgowan to beat Stewart Black at the near post.

Midway through the half, substitute Tom Andrews was pulled down inside the home goalmouth as Gordon Seago awarded a penalty. Gary Mcgowan struck low from the spot inside the post.

With 15 minutes remaining, Ross Still prodded home a rebound from close range.

rothes 0 BUCKIE thistle 2

The best chance of the first half fell to Steven Anderson right on the whistle as Lee Herbert failed to collect leaving the goal gaping. The former Wick striker was unable to get enough on the ball to get it over the line before Mackinnon got back to clear. Ten minutes into the second half, Mackinnon was in action at the other end. His 25-yard freekick didn’t appear to have too much power on it, but it bounced over the diving Cammy Mackay. Jaime Wilson was adjudged to have handled a shot just inside the penalty area in the 61st minute, but justice appeared to be done when Andrew Macaskill skied the resulting spot-kick high over the crossbar.

Buckie grab a second three minutes later, Lewis Mackinnon running across Mackay to glance a header into the net.
