Glass (31), Megginson (85)

Early on, Fraser Fyvie and Mitch Megginson had shots from range, but neither tested the City keeper

Cove took the lead just after the half-hour when Harry Milne fed the ball into Declan Glass and he produced a trademark shot from 20 yards, drilling it into the bottom corner.

City keeper Tom Mchale saved from Jamie Masson, Glass and Megginson in the opening 10 minutes of the second half.

Paul Hartley’s side finally put the game to bed in the final five minutes, a cross from Glass being placed into the net from six yards by skipper Mitch Megginson.

BRECHIN

ALBION RV

City had the first chance after just six minutes when a Paul Mcmanus closerange header was held by visitors goalkeeper Ryan Goodfellow.

City’s Lewis Mcminn had to look sharp to keep out a Jack Breen drive in the 24th minute.

As the match progressed, few clear-cut chances fell to either side.

The hosts were reduced to 10 men with six minutes remaining when midfielder Luke Watt received a second yellow card from referee Duncan Williams for a tackle on Ross Clarke.

Despite this, they held on for a deserved share of the spoils.
