BANKS O’ DEE are four points clear at the top of the North Region Super League after winning 2-1 at BRIDGE OF DON THISTLE. Robert Armstrong put Dee ahead early on, only for Liam Burnett to level matters right after the break. Sam Muirhead and Stephen Jeffrey both saw red for the Jags, before Jack Henderson grabbed a late winner for the visitors. MONTROSE hit MAUD for six thanks to doubles from Beedie and Stephen and singles from C. Mitchell and Thomson.

NAIRN SAINT NINIAN and DYCE shared the points, with Mark Bartlet and Davie Baillie on target for the visitors. The prolific Adam Macleod hit two for Saints. CULTER were held to a 1-1 draw at home to HALL RUSSELL, with Willie Mathers netting for the home side and Liam Duncan levelling. COLONY PARK enjoyed a good 3-1 home win over DEVERONSID­E. Kyle Gordon was the home hero with a first-half hat-trick. John Mcleay scored a consolatio­n for Side. HERMES are up to sixth and join Dyce on 21 points after edging out ELLON UNITED 2-1 at Lochside Park, Innes and Dawson grabbing the goals.

EAST END and BANCHORY SAINT TERNAN shared two goals and the points at New Advocates Park, moving the homesters three points clear of the bottom two. SUNNYBANK are also four points clear at the top of the First Division, after Dan Scott (2), Lee Todd (2) and Dean Still scored in their 5-0 home win over bottom side BUCHANHAVE­N HEARTS. Second-placed STONEHAVEN drew 1-1 at home to BUCKIE ROVERS, who netted through Mikey Simpson. FRASERBURG­H UNITED leapfrogge­d LONGSIDE into fourth after a singlegoal win over their rivals at College Park. DUFFTOWN won 2-1 at STONEYWOOD PARKVALE to move up to seventh and three points clear of Buckie Rovers in second-bottom. George Knight got the only goal for FORRES THISTLE in the battle of the Jags against BURGHEAD, moving them 10 points clear of their Moray rivals at the top of the Second Division table. GLENTANAR were beaten 2-1 at home by ISLAVALE, Lee Alexander grabbing a late winner for the Keith men. Craig Smith was also on target for Vale, with Greg Wood replying for the hosts. SPEY VALLEY enjoyed a comfortabl­e 4-1 home win over WHITEHILLS to move up to fourth.

CRUDEN BAY defeated NEW ELGIN 2-0 to move within a point of their opponents in the table. Ross Clark and Andy Boyle netted for ABERDEEN UNI in their 2-2 home draw with NEWMACHAR UNITED in Section 1 of the Morrison Cup. Tough and Hardie replied for United.
