Man hit in liquid attack

A man was taken to hospital after an unknown liquid was thrown in his face yesterday. The incident happened at Saughton Park, Edinburgh, just after 2pm.

A large number of emergency vehicles were seen arriving in the area after the alarm was raised.

Police Scotland said: “The man has been taken to hospital as a precaution and inquiries are ongoing to trace the person responsible.”
