Actor hails his hero

Former Dr Who David Tennant has hailed fellow Scottish actor Gregor Fisher as “a hero”. Fisher – best known as Glaswegian alcoholic Rab C Nesbitt stars with Tennant in the second series of the BBC Two comedy drama There She Goes, which starts on Thursday. Tennant said he was delighted to be working with Fisher, who plays his on-screen father, saying: “I’ve always thought he is an exceptional actor and he has been a bit of a hero of mine.”
