Zoo plans lofty views

Giraffes at Edinburgh Zoo won’t have to crick their necks to enjoy some of the capital’s most spectacular vistas, with details of their future hilltop home having been revealed.
Gavin Whigham of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland revealed the enclosure will be among the most elevated at the attraction, on the south-facing slopes of Corstorphine Hill.
The 18ft tall animals will enjoy plenty of headroom as the structure will reach more than 39ft in height.
