It’s a fabulous dress season, and there are all sorts of floaty numbers around to tempt you. Some great bargain dresses are to be found on the sale rails and online, but I’m the sort of person who spots something on the ‘just in’ section that excites me more! When sale shopping, pick items that are classic and will stand the test of time. Linen is a good buy, as it’s a high quality, hardwearing fabric that always looks good. Never buy something in sale without checking the sizing is right for you, and never buy too small thinking you’ll lose a few pounds to get into it.

Sale time is great for investing in accessories, so it’s always worth keeping an eye on your favourite brands. It could be the time to buy that designer name.
