Seven points now separate leaders BAYERN MUNICH from second-top RB LEIPZIG at the top of the Bundesliga. Midfielder Leon Goretzka (below) scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over their nearest rivals, drilling a Thomas Muller cutback into the top-right corner. Leipzig are all but guaranteed to qualify for the Champions League for a third successive season, as they hold a 14-point lead over fifth-placed BORUSSIA DORTMUND. Dortmund’s Champions League qualification hopes were severely dented as EINTRACHT FRANKFURT hit a late winner The visitors boosted their own chances in the 2-1 win to consolidate fourth spot. They went ahead through Nico Schulz’s own goal before Mats Hummels equalised after 44 minutes. Andre Silva’s 87th-minute winner meant fourth-placed Frankfurt went seven points clear of Dortmund. n A goal in each half gave REAL MADRID a 2-0 home victory over EIBAR.

Marco Asensio struck at the Bernabeu four minutes before the break, and Karim Benzema made sure of the points on 73 minutes.

Real lie three points adrift of leaders Atletico Madrid, who have played one game less.

They play that match this evening at Sevilla. n Former Chelsea, Everton and Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku put INTER MILAN in front just after the half-hour at BOLOGNA.

The win stretches Inter’s lead at the top of Serie A to eight points, with a game in hand over city neighbours AC. Substitute Jens Petter Hauge hit an 87th-minute leveller against 10-man SAMPDORIA to keep AC MILAN’S fading title hopes alive. Sampdoria had opened the scoring through Fabio Quagliarella in the 57th minute before Adrien Silva was shown a second yellow card minutes later.

Cristiano Ronaldo rescued a point for JUVENTUS at rivals TORINO in the Turin derby. Midfielder Federico Chiesa opened the scoring for Juve in the 13th minute before Antonio Sanabria equalised midway through the first half. Sanabria put Torino in front just 13 seconds after the restart, doubling his tally after a defensive lapse.

But Ronaldo headed home a 79th-minute leveller.
