RANGERS B, with four changes from last week’s nine-goal win, came out 3-0 winners in the end at EDINBURGH UNIVERSITY. All they had to show for first-half pressure was a Lewis Mackinnon goal in the 22nd minute. After the turn, Robbie Fraser’s shot was blocked by Uni defenders in the 52nd minute and, soon after, Arron Lyall’s shot was saved by the Uni keeper Buxton. Pressure paid off after 68 minutes when when Robbie Ure’s pass was picked up by Alex Lowry, who slotted the ball in to make it 2-0. Sub Tony Weston set up No. 3 five minutes from time when his cross was headed home by Cole Mckinnon.

CELTIC B made it eight games undefeated with a 1-0 win over DALBEATTIE STAR. After six minutes, Owen Moffat saw his 25-yarder go just over the bar, but The Hoops went ahead on 19 minutes after Bruno Davidson broke down the right, passed to Moffat and his cutback was hammered home by Adam Brooks. The Star defence was soaking up the pressure in the second half and Bruno Davidson’s shot was saved in the 50th minute. Five minutes later, Letsosa shot wide.

EAST KILBRIDE moved into the top half of the league with a 3-2 win over BERWICK RANGERS after Erskine set up Joao Vitoria, who prodded the ball home from close in. Then, in 25 minutes,

Lewis Allan equalised with a raking drive. Just on the interval, Craig Malcolm went one-on-one with the keeper and slotted home, then, 10 minutes after the turn, James Finlay made ti 3-1 with a great 25-yarder. With five minutes left, Mackenzie’s tremendous 25-yard free-kick went into the Kilby net.

Leaders BONNYRIGG ROSE stay a point clear at the top after a narrow 2-1 win over BO’NESS UNITED. In the 39th minute, Callum Connolly opened for Rose when he headed home a free-kick and, on 78 minutes, Lewis Turner netted a 25-yarder before Zander Miller hit a late penalty for Bo’ness.

CALEDONIAN BRAVES beat pointless VALE OF LEITHEN 4-0 with Jamie Walker setting them on the victory trail on five minutes, then Rhys Armstrong headed No. 2 in the 40th minute. Cole Starrs made it 3-0 on 53 minutes and Armstrong got his second on the hour.

BROOMHILL spoiled GRETNA 2008’s celebratio­ns as they played on the new 4G Raydale Park pitch and went away with a 2-1 win. Gretna went ahead with a Josh Cooper goal in 11 minutes, but Mick Dunlop levelled on the hour, with the 90th-minute winner coming from Aidan Cassidy.

EAST STIRLINGSH­IRE got a narrow 3-2 win over SPARTANS, who fought back from 3-0 down to make it a grandstand finish after Jamie Dishington hit two goals for Spartans late on.

CIVIL SERVICE STROLLERS recorded a 4-2 win over CUMBERNAUL­D COLTS. Strollers hit three in the first 10 minutes through Alieu Faye (2) and Mcmcconnel­l. Faye got his hat-trick in the 74th minute. Colts got two back in stoppage time through Lewis Warnock and a Sean Winter penalty.

Stirling Uni v Gala Fairydean Rovers was cancelled because of Covid.
