TRANENT and PENICUIK continue to head the table in the Premier League as both recorded comfortable wins.

Tranent were 3-0 winners over MUSSELBURGH, with Sean Wringe giving them the lead in 37 minutes and Dean Whitson doubling their advantage in 51 minutes. Then, just to make sure, Ryan Weir lobbed the keeper in stoppage-time to add a third.

Penicuik found themselves a goal down when Liam Mcintosh gave NEWTONGRANGE the lead in nine minutes, but Paul Tansey levelled in 26 minutes. Then the big turning point came when the hosts had Gary Hamilton red-carded and Cuikie took advantage when Andy Forbes bulleted home a header for the winner in 69 minutes.

CROSSGATE PRIMROSE dominated the Fife derby, easily beating HILL OF BEATH 4-1 despite playing for over an hour with 10 men after Craig Mcguire was sent off. Ryan Connelly gave the Haws a half-time lead, but the visitors went to pieces after the break as the home side took control. Archie Campbell levelled in 46 minutes, then Darren Aitken put them ahead in 59 minutes and this was followed by an own goal and a Cammy Muirhead strike with seven minutes to go.

CAMELON were 2-1 ahead of BLACKBURN UNITED, who were down to 10 men after Mildren was ordered-off at half-time, but, in a cracking second half, the Mariners lost their composure and went down 4-3. Callum Heath with a double, Richard Hutton and Andy Mcquillan were the Blackburn scorers.

In Conference A, Stephen Scott gave EDINBURGH UNITED the lead over DUNIPACE, but the visitors hit back through Sam Colley in 31 minutes and Ryan Kane netted what proved to be the winner for Dunipace a minute from half-time.

In a hard-fought Perthshire derby in Conference B, KINNOULL won the bragging rights with a 1-0 win over LUNCARTY, with Rhys Davies goal in 32 minutes proving to be decisive.
