TRANENT moved two points clear at the top of the table with five games left to play. Tranent found themselves behind against the SWIFTS, but Wayne Mcintosh and Ciaran Mckenzie goals gave them the lead, only for Swifts to draw level. In an exiting climax, Owen Renton grabbed a winner for the leaders.

PENICUIK missed a chance to share the lead when they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to DUNDONALD BLUEBELL. A 25-yarder from Nicky Reid gave Cuikie the lead in 11 minutes, but a diving header from Jack Smith in 40 minutes denied Penicuik the win.

CAMELON remain rooted at the bottom of the table after a 2-0 home defeat from HILL OF BEATH. The Haws took the lead through a Ross Allum penalty on 32 minutes and Jake Mitchell clinched the points with a second in 64 minutes.

CROSSGATES were 3-1 winners over LTHV and never looked back after Archie Campbell gave them the lead in 23 minutes. Brian Ritchie made it two in 35 minutes and, even though the visitors struck just on half-time, a second-half penalty from Cammy Muirhead won the day for the hosts.

LINLITHGOW ROSE were 2-0 winners over SAUCHIE, with Alan Docherty giving them the lead in the first half and Sean Heaver doubling their advantage in the second half.

A goal in the dying minutes gave BLACKBURN UNITED a 1-0 victory over BROXBURN. The visitors were awarded a penalty in 89 minutes and, although it was saved, Calum Heath pounced to net the rebound.

MUSSELBURG­H looked out of sorts as they went down 3-1 at home to DUNBAR. Jamie Devlin gave Dunbar the lead in 33 minutes and Andy Jones scored a second on the stroke of half-time. Michael Mcfarlane netted a third in 58 minutes, with the home side’s consolatio­n coming five minutes from time through Darren Downie.

HADDINGTON moved five points clear at the top of Conference A with a 3-0 win at ARNISTON. Guy Mcgarry gave them the lead, then, five minutes from the interval, Dylan Tait made it two. They then added a third in the second half from a goalmouth scramble.
