Despite Penicuik scoring a late winner against Linlithgow, TRANENT were crowned league champions on goal difference after their 2-0 victory over JEANFIELD SWIFTS. Tranent made a cagey start against the Perth side, but took the lead through a Jamie Docherty

penalty on 25 minutes. This settled them and Darren Mccormack added a second in 40 minutes and they held on to take the title.

PENICUIK were left disappoint­ed after finishing level on points, but finished

as runners-up after a 2-1 victory over LINLITHGOW ROSE. After a goalless first half, Nicky Reid fired Cuikie ahead in 60 minutes, only for Mark Stowe to level from a penalty in 73 minutes. It looked like finishing in a draw, but Reid struck a winner for Penicuik two minutes into time added.

TYNECASTLE finished on a high with a 7-0 victory over DUNBAR. Taylor Henry gave them the lead from a penalty in 23 minutes and Ryan Cameron made it two five minutes later. Fletcher Henry made it 3-0 at the interval and there was no stopping the hosts in the second half, with Taylor Henry converting another penalty, then completed his hat-trick. Fletcher Henry and Luke Kennedy added two more.

In a tight game at CROSSGATES, the home side took the points with a Calum Smith winner in 76 minutes against BLACKBURN UNITED.

HILL OF BEATH won the bragging rights in the Fife derby when they thumped DUNDONALD BLUEBELL 4-1. Lewis Elder gave the Haws the lead on 12 minutes and Ryan Connelly made it two in 41 minutes. Elder scored a third in 78 minutes, with Dundonald netting a consolatio­n with five minutes to go. The Haws replied with a fourth from Arran Dair on the final whistle.

Bryan Wilson gave WHITEHILL the lead against SWIFTS, but the hosts replied with an equaliser just on half-time. Liam Ireland regained the lead for Welfare five minutes into the second half, but they fell away and Swifts scored three times for a 4-2 win.

CAMELON finished their season at the bottom of the league with another humiliatin­g 6-1 defeat from Musselburg­h. Goals from Connor Fitzpatric­k and Mathu King gave Burgh a half-time lead and a second-half hat-trick from Darren Downie and another from Declan O’kane added to the Mariners misery, with their only consolatio­n a goal scored in 70 minutes.

BROXBURN finished their season with three points after a solid 3-0 win over SAUCHIE, with all the goals coming in the first half. Gary Brass opened the scoring in three minutes an, six minutes later, Jackson Barker made it two. Brass then added a third after 33 minutes.

In Conference A, HADDINGTON had a 3-1 victory over EDINBURGH UNITED, with all the goals coming in the second half. Nick Aitchison gave the champions the lead, then Shaun Hill and Robbie King added two more before the visitors pulled one back.
