Marc’s a fashion superstar

-

SCOT Marc William told last night how he went from The Voice hopeful to Will.i.am’s fashion guru.

Marc, 24, from Glasgow, suffered a blow when his version of Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love failed to get a button push.

But when the US star saw his dress sense he took to the stage to quiz Marc.

“I think I’ve got a style between grandad and jumble sale,” laughed Marc.

“Will came up on stage to ask me about stuff and said he loved my jelly shoes. He even called me a superstar!”

Despite not being picked, Marc says the hugely positive comments by all the coaches left him feeling a winner.

He just failed to reach boot camp on last year’s X Factor but says that and his Voice experience haven’t put him off.

And he’s using the success of pal Pixie Lott, with whom he attended the famous Italia Conti stage school in London, as an inspiration.

“It’s always been my dream to be a recording artist,” said Marc, who now works as a kids performing coach in Kent.

“But when you’re surrounded by people like Pixie it gives you a spur.

“And the coaches’ comments on The Voice have given me a real confidence boost.”

But there was joy, tempered with a bit of sadness, for hopeful Bizzi Dixon.

He made it through on to Sir Tom’s team but there was family disappointment.

His brother Shenton was also auditioning but failed to win over any of the coaches.

“It was such a bittersweet moment,” said 42-year-old Bizzi, from Leicester.

“I was trying to suppress my happiness afterwards because I didn’t want to look like I was gloating.”

The hopeful revealed that he was just delighted to be able to perform.

“I had a vocal op a while back and I was told there was just a 50/50 chance of singing again,” said Bizzi, who had a previous record deal on the same label as Kylie.
