FOCHABERS

It’s worth heading inland to Fochabers to visit Gordon Castle – you’ll find one of Scotland’s oldest walled gardens.

SPEY BAY

Explore the open, exposed coastline, where the River Spey meets the Moray Firth – taking a different route every year!

FINDHORN

Set on Findhorn Bay and surrounded by magnificen­t beaches. There’s also a harbour and heritage centre.

WHITEHILLS

Take a walk along the shore of this gorgeous town to discover a local beauty spot known as the Sands of Whitehills.

CULLEN

Home of Cullen Skink. Great views across the Moray Firth, slightly spoiled by the concrete wall all the way along the front.

LOSSIEMOUT­H

Beautiful, white sandy beaches stretch as far as the eye can see. Take a boat ride – you may spot some dolphins.

BURGHEAD

The Pictish Fort dates back to around 400AD. Burghead Bay is regularly visited by whales, dolphins and seals.

FORRES

Where the Moray coastal trail starts and finishes. Site of a monument to Admiral Lord Nelson, dating back to 1806.
