LEAGUE 1 amateurs Queen’s Park will be without Craig McLeish for next week’s game with Brechin – as he’ll be on international duty. The 26-year-old has been selected for the Scottish futsal team to compete in the first Home Nations Championship in Cardiff from December 2 to 4.

CELTIC’S Italian goalkeeper Leonardo Fasan could find himself in demand during the January transfer window.
Several SPFL clubs are keen to take the 22-year-old on loan.
Fasan (below) joined Celtic from Udinese in 2010 but hasn’t played in their first team yet.

SKELTON’SBACK
GAVIN SKELTON has bounced back from his parting of the ways with Queen of the South to join amateur Westmorland League side Appleby.
Skelton returns to the club where he started playing 25 years ago, as he explained: “Appleby are my local side so I asked if I could join their training. Thank fully, a number of their squad wereatschool with me and their captain was best man at mywedding, so I got back in.”

Loons boss Gary Bollan said: “Michael has been missed and I feel that it will be like bringing a new player in as he has been out so long. All being well, he will be available for first-team action in December.”
