REGGIE LAMBE struck the winner in a 2-1 victory for Carlisle at Wycombe that consolidat­ed their automatic promotion place.

The Cumbrians, who had manager Keith Curle sent off late on, fell behind in the second minute when Adebayo Akinfenwa glanced home.

Carlisle quickly hit back when Jamie Proctor picked his spot from the edge of the area.

Route one then led to the Cumbrians taking the lead after 34 minutes, as Mark Gillespie’s free-kick was flicked on by Proctor and Lambe was able to poke the ball past Jamal Blackman.

A Matty Kennedy wonder goal denied Hartlepool a big win over Plymouth, striking with 14 minutes left after Rhys Oates’ opener for Hartlepool in a 1-1 draw.

Paul Mullin scored twice as Morecambe climbed above Crawley with a convincing 3-1 victory.

Rhys Turner put the Shrimps on their way after three minutes, before Mullin doubled the advantage.

Mullin made it 3-0 five minutes before the break with a lob from eight yards.

Crawley reduced the deficit when Andrew Fleming brought down sub Rhys Murphy and James Collins converted from the spot.

Ollie Turton denied Blackpool a win over Crewe as he grabbed a late equaliser as Alex came from two goals down to draw 2-2.

Blackpool struck after eight minutes when Nathan Delfouneso headed home, before Tom Aldred doubled the lead after 27 minutes.

Crewe halved the deficit after 62 minutes, with Chris Dagnall bundling the ball home the rebound, and then Jordan Bowery nodded down for Turton to volley in the leveller.
