Why did my sister send me home before she died?

- JuneField

Dear June

I LOST my sister last year after a short illness. We didn’t spend much time together as she lived in Manchester. During her illness I stayed with her for two weeks and she seemed to be on the mend.

I wanted to stay longer but she told me to go home to my family as they needed me and that she would be OK.

She passed away two days after I left. Why did she send me home? Did she know she was dying?

Veronica, Dundee.

June Says

When we lose a loved one suddenly, it leaves us with unanswered questions as well as emotional shock, before we eventually arrive at the grieving stage.

Prior to a passing, there are many who might do or say something out of character.

An example of this might be when a loved one who is not usually emotional tells you how special you are or they might hug or kiss you.

They would not normally act in this way and most people look back after their passing and acknowledge the fact this behaviour was unusual and out of character.

I am impressed to say you had a similar experience regarding your sister the last time you saw her.

I am aware of two people, a lady and man, drawing forward together from spirit side.

The man is very protective of her and I sense he has been on spirit side for quite some time and that his passing was also sudden.

I feel a gentle-natured soul with him and that they were life partners. I am left in no doubt that they are happy to be reunited.

As I connect with the lady, I sense she was your older sister

who always looked out for you and she wanted to spare you the pain of being present at her passing.

Her whole presence is enveloped in beautiful vibrant colours and she has the most radiant smile.

A large black dog has also made its presence known to me, which I feel would also have been a valued family member.

Your protective older sister sends her love and will continue to look out for you from the other side.

VERDICT

When we said goodbye on the day I left, she told me she would be OK no matter what. This was a strange thing for her to say and I thought about it many times after she passed.

She was my older sister by six years and was always there.

Her husband died suddenly many years earlier and she missed him so much. He was a gentle, loving man.

The black dog was their beloved family pet that died just after her husband.

After he passed she grew tired of life without him.

It is comforting to know they are together.
