THE average British adult plans to spend an average of just six hours and 14 minutes outdoors this bank holiday weekend, according to new research.

Despite the extra day off work for most, the average Briton plans to spend just two hours outside per day according to research of 1,011 UK adults carried out by outdoor furniture retailer Alfresia.
