Pierce’s TV faves led to his return
JAMES BOND actor Pierce Brosnan has said watching hit shows Game of Thrones and House of Cards convinced him to return to the small screen.
The actor, who last appeared on TV in ’80s show as Remington Steele, said: “I’d been actively looking to go back to TV because it’s so fertile.
“So much great and varied work is being done on TV now and ever since I began watching House of Cards and Game of Thrones I thought it would be important to be part of that cultural fabric.”
He is also preparing to mount an exhibition of his artwork in Paris.
He said: “My feeling is, if I can go out and sing in Mamma Mia maybe I can show my work as a painter.”
