Father came to me in a dream to say he had to go

- June Field

Dear June

MY father passed away unexpectedly in 2010 and I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye.

My husband works in France and we had been living there during my father’s illness.

After his heart surgery, I made my way back to the UK to visit him in hospital and all seemed to be going to plan.

On the first night after my return to France, I had a disturbing dream in which my father came to me and told me he had to leave us. Two days later, he passed away in hospital.

Kiran, Cambridge.

There are quite a few people who have had similar experiences of precognition when a relative gives them information on their imminent passing.

These visits usually occur in dream state but there have been occasions when a relative or friend has appeared to someone out of dream state to reassure them they will be all right after they pass over.

I have also stated in previous columns that if someone is not present at a passing, for whatever reason, then they are not meant to be there.

As I read your letter I get the impression that your father was quite an upbeat man who looked at things positively.

I do not feel you are an only child as I sense a unit of three but you seem to have been the closest to your father.

I am also being shown a hospital room and I can see two figures sitting by the bedside and feel they were present during his passing.

I see a memory of two men fishing from a small boat. The sun is shining and the water is calm. I sense the calmness of that day around your father as he draws closer.

He was a very protective, caring father who would never push you towards achieving but would rather support you in

order for you to find happiness and contentment.

Do you have a tattoo, scar or mark on your right upper arm? I have a positive feeling regarding this.

I see a vision of you on a bench in a garden surrounded by rose bushes and it’s there you often sit and think happy memories about your father.

He hears you as you talk to him each day and wants to reassure you that he is fine and all is well in his world.

He’s surrounded by many who have previously crossed over and they’re very happy to be reconnected with him.

VERDICT

I have two brothers but my father was very protective of me as I was his only daughter, and he always wanted me to live my dream and be happy.

My mother and one of my brothers were at my father’s bedside when he passed.

He and my husband used to go fishing together and those memories are very precious.

I recently had a mole removed from my upper right arm and all is OK now.

I sit in a remembrance garden near our home that has many rose bushes around me and I talk to him there.
