Judy’s tattoo is a hit with her mother
JUDY MURRAY has received backing for her new tattoo – from her mum.
Judy, 57, revealed she had got her first tattoo last month, saying the black spider at the base of her neck was to mark the story of Robert the Bruce and the spider that inspired him to try, try and try again.
Mum Shirley Erskine, 82, said she only learned about her daughter’s back art when she saw her appear on The One Show.
But she said it was “fun”, and admitted she is looking forward to seeing it.
She added: “It’s just the sort of thing she would enjoy doing.
“It’s a bit of fun but it’s all about the story of Robert the Bruce and the spider.
“I expect we’ll ask to see it, although it’s on her back.”
