WHAT’S a former MP to do to mark the fact their time as an elected politician is over?

Well, for former Ayr SNP representative Corri Wilson a trip to the tattoo parlour with her family was in order.

It is understood Corri and members of her family – some of whom used to work for her when she was an MP – now boast tattoos of a phoenix.

They are obviously playing the long game though as, according to Greek mythology, the phoenix could live for more than 1400 years before rebirth.
