Teen torchbearer dies

A TEENAGE cancer sufferer who once carried the Olympic torch has died.

Kieran Maxwell, 18, from Heighington, County Durham, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma six years ago. He carried the torch through Bishop Auckland in 2012.
