TWO pedestrians have been killed as they crossed a road late at night, police have said.

The man and woman, aged in their 50s, died when they were in collision with a vehicle as they walked across the A64, near Malton, North Yorkshire, at around 10.55pm on Friday night.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses.
