Old pupils contacted over abuse
A SCOTTISH private school which has educated generations of Royals has contacted more than 3000 former pupils asking them to report evidence of historical abuse.
The drive comes after allegations of abuse at Gordonstoun junior school in Moray emerged two years ago.
It is one of a number of independent schools in Scotland named in a national inquiry into historical abuse, which is being chaired by senior judge Lady Smith.
Gordonstoun’s new principal, Lisa Kerr, said it had been “incredibly proactive” in contacting alumni.
Prince Charles is a former pupil at the boarding school, near Lossiemouth.
