Scot weds top Trump official
A SCOTS actress married one of Donald Trump’s senior officials yesterday in a glitzy Washington ceremony.
Louise Linton – who got her acting break in Robert Redford’s Lions For Lambs in 2007 – tied the knot with Steve Mnuchin, the head of the US Treasury.
The couple met at a wedding reception in 2013 and got engaged two years later.
Louise, 36, was born in Edinburgh and attended the city’s Fettes College.
She was widely criticised last year when she published an allegedly inaccurate memoir about a gap year she had taken in Africa.
She later apologised and withdrew the book from sale.
