Deceased grandpa spoke to my bullied son

-

Dear June

EIGHT years ago, my eldest son suffered at the hands of school bullies for around six months.

He didn’t tell us at first and for a few years after the trauma he lost his confidence and suffered major anxiety attacks.

Things changed for the better after he experienced a visit from his deceased grandpa (my dad, who had died five years before) who he says talked to him in a dream and told him not to worry as he would look after him. Is my dad still around him?

Margaret, via email.

June Says

Your dad will always be around the family.

Spirit loved ones pull together to provide extra support to their families when they need it most.

This could come in the form of a visit (usually in a dream) or a sign (objects going missing, electrical equipment turning itself off or on, etc) to let us know we are not alone when experiencing emotional trauma.

Just because you have not had any recent visits or signs from him doesn’t mean he is no longer there.

He is and always will be close by the people he loves.
