SCOT Bradley Forbes-Cryans missed out on a final place in the men’s kayak event at the World Cup in Augsburg, Germany, when he hit gate trouble in his semi-final and finished down the field.

There was a silver medal for GB team-mate Mallory Franklin in the women’s C1 event, behind Australian Jessica Fox.

Olympians David Florence (above) and Fiona Pennie are in action today, having safely come through their qualifying heats.
