The songs are catchy, Travolta and Newton-John make a very cute couple and Stockard Channing steals every scene she’s in.
It’s impossible not to be swept along.

Soon after, outlaw Butch Cavendish (William Fichtner) escapes custody and John’s brother, Texas Ranger Dan Reid (James Badge Dale), leads the search party.
An entertaining action adventure which also stars Johnny Depp as Tonto, The Lone Ranger’s sidekick.

Michael Shannon assumes the lead role of Kuklinski. In flashback, we meet Richard in his early days as an underling for sadistic mob boss Roy DeMeo (Ray Liotta).

Flying Squad hard man DI Jack Regan (Ray Winstone) and sidekick George Carter (Ben Drew) hunt a gang of wily European thieves.
The Sweeney is a slick revamp of the classic 1970s TV series and Winstone plays the daddy of the department with tightly coiled intensity.

The final Western from director Anthony Mann and actor James Stewart – they had worked together on classics including The Naked Spur – is also their best.
Mann explores the darker, more obsessive side of Stewart’s everyman persona.
