Angus (4), Copeland (50).

BUCKIE took the lead in four minutes when home keeper Dave McGurn picked up after David Syme stopped the ball six yards from his line. The referee gave an indirect free-kick and Chris Angus’ low cross flew off Craig Dorrat and into the net.

Immediately, however, it was visiting keeper Daniel Bell to the rescue, deflecting wide a Robbie Buchanan 10-yard drive.

The equaliser came in 25 minutes when the Thistle defence was caught out by Fraser Mullen’ s corner and David Syme powered a header past Bell from eight yards out.

The hosts started to carve out chances and D or rat twice denied Cammy Muirhead from Buchanan assists.

But, on 43 minutes, the Cow den front man scored No. 2 for the Fifers from Buchanan’s assist after rounding Bell.

Five minutes into the second period, Buckie levelled. Seconds after coming on as a sub, Drew Copeland’s corner went straight into the net with McGurn caught out.

On 61 minutes the Fifers went back into the lead again when Mullen’s free-kick saw Syme curl a header over Bell and into the net.

The fourth came with two minutes to go. Sub Ryan Connelly held off two challenges and fired a low 10-yarder past Bell to tie things up for the Fifers.
