National Television Awards IOV

After such a tough year for Ant, I was in pieces watching him and Dec pick up their awards. Bless them. – M. McKinnon, Kyle Of Lochalsh.

The Graham Norton Show BBC1

Trust Graham Norton to point out that two of his guests, Dame Helen Mirren and Liam Neeson, used to be an item. Awkward! As always, though, great chat and laughs.

– S. Waterson, Edinburgh.

The Voice

ITV

Olly Murs is the perfect mentor. The lad is a born entertainer. Wouldn’t be surprised if Simon Cowell snaps him up as a judge for the next series of The X Factor. You heard it here first.

– J. Anthony, Motherwell.

Derry Girls

Channel 4

This is the sitcom I’ve been waiting for. An utterly hilarious snapshot of teenagers living in Northern Ireland in the 90s. Every line of dialogue is a killer gag. Just superb.

– B. Frederiksen, Glasgow.

Pointless

BBC1

Richard Osman seems to do little other than sit down and adjudicate on the quiz, led by the talented Alexander Armstrong. Who is this man who does so little to entertain? – T. Duncan,

Bridlington.
