Fleetwood Town went down 3-0 at Doncaster to compound the misery on manager Uwe Rosler.

On loan Burnley defender Tom Anderson scored twice with Alex Kiwomya also on the scoresheet, as Doncaster condemned the visitors to a seventh consecutive defeat.

Doncaster went ahead after 13 minutes when Kiwomya marked his first start for the club with his first goal, poking in a John Marquis cross from close range. Rovers doubled their advantage on 27 minutes when Anderson pounced on a parry from keeper Alex Cairns to slot home.

Fleetwood offered very little in attack with their best effort coming from substitute Jordy Hiwula who drew a fine save from Marko Marosi.

It always seemed likely Doncaster would extend their lead and Alfie Beestin struck a post.

But Rovers did find a third after 55 minutes when Anderson stooped to head in a fine cross from Tommy Rowe.

Skipper Richard Wood scored the winner just before half time, as in-form Rotherham pulled off a 1-0 victory at leaders Shrewsbury.

Paul Warne’s fourthplaced side have now won six games in a row during an impressive 13-match unbeaten run.

The visitors broke the deadlock a minute before the interval as central defender Wood turned home the ball from close range following a corner.

Charlton moved up into the final play-off spot after beating MK Dons 2-1. It was their first win in three games and condemned their struggling hosts to their fifth straight league loss.

Ahmed Kashi and Josh Magennis both found the net for the visitors.

Kieran Agard netted a consolation, but it wasn’t enough for the Dons’ rookie manager Dan Micciche.
