Em@il Jury

A bin man has revealed he’s eaten the same McDonald’s meal every day for the past 25 years – including Christmas Day. We asked our Email Jury if they have any unusual food habits and what food they couldn’t possibly live without

I love bananas but if they have any marks on them I can’t eat them. They have to be blemish-free, so I wrap them in tea towels – and it works!

Lorraine Anderson, Edinburgh

I couldn’t live without asparagus. I used to watch it grow as a child and vowed I would grow it when I was older, which I do. I can’t get enough of it in season.

Elizabeth O’Regan, Lincoln I really like variety, but I think I could survive on lots of different kinds of sandwiches!

Judi Martin, Aberdeenshire

I hate most vegetables, especially onions. My reaction to garlic makes me think I might be a vampire. Liz Kelly, Glasgow love meat and with a local butcher only down the road, we can be sure that it is good quality.

Lorna Smith, North Yorkshire

I eat anything that is put in front of me. Ronald James, Kirriemuir

I have cereal every morning, whatever I am doing. I have been known to eat a bowl of

cereal at 3am if we are setting off for the airport for an early flight! Susan Ireland,

Kendal

My food habits? Roast beef on Sunday, salmon and mash on Monday, cottage pie on Tuesday, chicken and chips on Wednesday, eat-out on Thursday, fish and chips on Friday and eat-out on Saturday. All meals at home are healthy eating. It may sound boring, but I enjoy it.

David Hillerby, Durham

The only food I eat really regularly is porridge. Joan

Fordyce, Forfar

I don’t have unusual food habits, but I could eat bacon for every meal. I just love it. Julie Doughty,

York
