My husband just wanted the best for his loved ones

- June Field

Dear June

My husband passed away suddenly.

He had been ill with heart problems off and on for some time and was told on numerous occasions by doctors to slow down, as his job was stressful and involved a lot of travelling.

He did slow down at times but these periods didn’t last long and before we knew it, he was back with even higher stress levels.

His excuse would always be that he wanted the best for his family. He left myself and his two boys behind.

Talia, Sunderland.

June Says

A problem we are all guilty of is habitually putting things off but unfortunately for some, tomorrow never comes.

Our good intentions are put on hold for many reasons, and the excuses we make for not sticking to our plans are genuine ones.

We all live in a material world, where money and finances are very important, in order to support and care for those we love.

So we keep putting off the time we should all take as individuals to recover and recharge from the stresses accrued in our work life.

Whatever we do for a living, it’s always good to take a break and rest.

We also never think that what happens to others through stress and overwork could possibly happen to us.

As I become more aware of spirit, I sense the presence of a gentleman.

I feel a lot of emotion and get the impression he wasn’t afraid to show his feelings.

He does not come forward alone and although there are many with him, a tall slim woman stands beside him as if she is also making herself known to me.

He makes me aware his family meant the world to him and, since his passing, he has made several attempts to let you know he is still around. I am impressed to say these have been in the home.

I sense your husband was there when he passed as his surroundings were familiar.

He also makes me aware of a younger male with him. Was one of his boys with him when he passed?

I am drawn to the chest and feel his passing was fast.

He can see how protective you are of the family.

The respect he holds for you, coupled with the love he directs towards you all, will remain with you for ever.

VERDICT

Brian passed suddenly and unexpectedly at home when he had a myocardial infarction.

At the time of his death, we were in the house with our youngest son, who was with him when he collapsed.

He was a great family man and even though he worked away a lot, when he was home, he spent time with us all. We were a close family.

We have had quite a few things happen at home and have put it down to “a visit from Dad”.

I lost my sister the year before Brian.

She was tall (taller than Brian) and slim. I am happy they are together.
