Anti-Islam city protest

A planned silent march by an anti-Islam group through London descended into violence yesterday. The Democratic Football Lads’ Alliance rally became chaotic when supporters clashed with police. Hundreds of mainly middle-aged male supporters were walking through Pall Mall when some of them broke away from the main body of the march. Many chanted: “Whose streets? Our streets!”, while dozens could be seen fighting with officers.
