Dear June

My husband Dennis passed away three years ago.

He had dementia and prostate cancer.

He had served 28 years in the RAF Marine Craft section.

We had been married 66 years and it was hard for me.

I did live in Alness, but moved a year ago to be near my daughter.

In February this year, my youngest son, Paul, who lived in Alness, committed suicide.

I think of them all the time and wondered if they are together?

Babs, Dunfermline

June Says

Your son Paul and his dad Dennis will definitely be together again.

It can be devastating for any partner who is left

behind after 66 years of marriage.

To also have to bear another grief so soon after is heartbreaking and following such sad loss, it is natural to think of them all the time.

Until you will all be reunited, please take some comfort in the knowledge that they are together, looking after one another.
