Anne loves to travel and spend time with family and friends – and is happiest when the two come together. Here she shares her special moments…

Happy holidays

Here we are on holiday with our friends Maggie and Chris Palmer. They’re great fun. This was our first visit to Gran Canaria. It’s a beautiful island with so much to see and do. It was the first time we had tried an all-inclusive holiday. We’re already thinking about where we’ll go next. I’m pictured (second left) with Maggie, James and Chris. LaLa Land love I have two wonderful children. Craig is 39 and the father of my grandchildren. Zoe is 36, single, and studying information technology at Los Angeles Valley College in California. We were there in February. This picture was taken at LA Kings ice hockey match in the Staples Centre. We have friends who live in Bel Air and it was great to catch up with them.

Graffiti grannies

I was involved in this year’s Nuart Festival in Aberdeen. We were called the graffiti grannies. The four of us were whisked down to London to give Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield a street art masterclass on This Morning. It was amazing to be part of the show. The interest and spin-off from it has been phenomenal. I never thought I would be picked to take part in the project and end up on TV but I am so glad I was. It has added another dimension to my life, giving me a new skill and new friends. What a joy!

Dearest darlings

We really love spending time with our grandchildren. Logan, six, loves to play football. His dad also played football in his youth. He is quite the little chatterbox. Kyla, 11, is growing so fast and will start senior school after the summer. She loves football and rugby but is also seriously into cricket and plays for a junior club in her home town in Aberdeenshire. She is a funny, charming young girl and great to be with.
