▪ Magnus P Atlevi and Phillip Price are set for a final-day battle at Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel and Country Club as they share the lead on nineunder-par following yesterday’s day two of The Sinclair Invitational.

Atlevi posted a five-under-par round of 67 and joined Price at the top of the leaderboard thanks to a birdie on the 18th hole, after the Welshman had carded a bogey-free 68 to set the pace earlier in the day.

It is unlikely to be a two-horse race today, however, with Price’s countryman Stephen Dodd and English duo Gary Evans and Paul Streeter just a shot behind on eight-under-par.

Atlevi’s five-under-par 67 was the joint low round of the day with Denmark’s Steen Tinning as he navigated his way into the red numbers to reach four-under-par.
