When you’ve finished sightseeing, rest your tired feet at city beach Banje, just a short walk from the Ploče Gate.
Or catch a movie under the stars at the Jadran outdoor cinema, nestled in the city walls.
Lokrum, an uninhabited isle on Dubrovnik’s doorstep, is an unspoilt isle lush with pines, palms and cypress trees.
Taxi boats take tourists every half-hour – you can be drinking a beer in Dubrovnik’s main square and be here in 20 minutes – but you can’t stay over. So just don’t miss the last shuttle!
