-

FRASERBURGH 3 FORRES 3

Forres pulled off a fantastic fightback to ruin Fraserburgh’s perfect start to the campaign.

Paul Campbell put the home team two up, charging down an attempted clearance and diverting the ball into the top corner, before blasting a 25-yarder into the same spot.

However, Andrew Macrae pulled one back for the Can Cans half-time.

Sean Butcher seemed to have sealed it for The Broch on 50 minutes, but Macrae netted his second before Aaron Hamilton headed home Simon Allan’s 87th-minute delivery.

CLACH 0 BUCKIE 2

Buckie’s opener arrived 20 minutes into the second half. A cross from the right came across to Scott Adams, who sidefooted it back across the keeper into the corner.

Sam Urquhart sealed the points from a penalty after Andy Macaskill was upended.

HUNTLY 2 INVERURIE 4

In the 24th minute, Calum Dingwall powered in from 25 yards, then, 10 minutes later, curled in a free-kick.

Huntly pulled one back on 38 minutes as David Booth saw his effort parried by Andrew Reid before Nathan Meres converted from close range.

On 47 minutes, the ball was worked in for Christopher Angus to tap in from close range. Ryan Stott fired home a fourth, before debutant Declan Milne scored Huntly’s second.

LOSSIEMOUTH 2 KEITH 3

Keith led 3-0 as James Brownie headed home the first, then a long throw-in was flicked to Grant Thomson to drill home a low shot. Michael Selfridge hit No. 3 from the spot after Liam Archibald handled.

Kris Duncan replied by firing home two late penalties and they nearly levelled with a Ross Elliot injury-time header.

NAIRN 4 STRATHSPEY 1

Nairn went in front on 19 minutes with Liam Shewan delivered a cutback which was slid home by Max Ewan.

The hosts doubled their lead on 39 minutes with Shewan’s delivery swept home by Glenn Main from 10 yards.

An impressive set-piece from Tom Maclennan put Nairn three up on 63 minutes.

Two minutes later, the home side were four up. Maclennan’s 30-yard clipped pass was perfect for Ewan and he crashed home a volley.

Thistle netted with just over 10 minutes remaining as Liam Taylor looped the ball over Nairn keeper Dylan Maclean.

Late on, Maclean made a superb save to deny Thistle’s James McShane from the spot.

WICK 2 TURRIFF 0

Kick-off was delayed by halfan-hour after the Turriff bus broke down on the A9.

Wick’s Craig Gunn opened the scoring on four minutes.

Turriff responded well to going behind and had two decent chances to equalise through a Robert Ward shot and a Dylan Stuart strike which hit the post from 10 yards.

Midway through the second half, Jack Halliday, burst through and finished well past Fraser Hobday for No. 2.

ROTHES 4 DEVERONVALE 0

Gordon Connelly and Nathan Sharp took the reigns for Rothes as the search for a new manager continues.

Ali Sutherland hit a first-half double lay the foundation for an easy second half. Steven Anderson made it three before Allen Mackenzie, who replaced goal hero Sutherland, rounded off the scoring.
