Get a Will before 2020 with the best in the business

- WORDS LAURA COVENTRY

with just over three weeks to go, time’s running out to make sure 2019’s the year you get your financial affairs in order.

With ILAWS Scotland, you can get your essential legal documents – such as a Will and Power of Attorney – drawn up by the professionals for just a fraction of the cost offered by competitors. So make sure you lift this weight off your mind before the year is out.

Tony Marchi, principal at ILAWS, points out:“We still have appointments available for clients wishing to organise a Will and/or a Power of Attorney before the year is out. However, the appointment opportunities are dwindling rapidly.

“That’s because we are running our discounted rates for only a few more weeks as prices will be increasing at some point in early 2020.”

Did you know that ILAWS can prepare a Will for you in your own home for just £40? (This is much lower than other firms’ charges).

A Will is something that most adults should already have because it ensures their loved ones are provided for when the inevitable eventually happens. Many people wrongly assume a husband or wife automatically inherits 100% of their loved one’s estate when they pass away. In fact, without a Will in place, this is unlikely.

Unmarried partners should also be concerned, as they do not inherit anything from each other, regardless of how long they have been together, unless a Will specifically states so.

Estate planning is a way of securing this, and is just one type of legal service
