Should Harry and Meghan get to keep their royal titles, and do you think they’re right to step back from their duties?
They were very privileged to receive the title as it was understood that they take on royal duties, so no title if no royal duties. There are far more worthy people who are not as privileged.

Harry and Meghan should maybe retain royal titles, but all other expenses, privileges and protection should be stopped.

Harry can’t be blamed for the way his mother was treated by the press, and he is not having it happen to his wife. The media have a lot to answer for in the way they hound individuals always looking for a weak spot. Harry is fragile — I think his decision is right.

If they want their independence they should pay back the £3m we paid to upgrade their house.

If they are to continue Royal public engagements in any form, then I have no problem with them retaining their titles. However, they should be given nothing from the public purse other than expenses to cover those duties.

I think they have let the Queen down tremendously. Their titles should be stripped from them along with other “perks” such as expensive security and money to live a glamorous lifestyle.
