Two officers injured attending incident
Two police officers needed hospital treatment after being injured while dealing with a disturbance at a flat.
A 14-year-old boy and a 28-year-old man were arrested and charged after officers were called to a property in Kirkintilloch, East Dunbartonshire, on Friday night.
Around 12 police vehicles attended the scene and two male officers were taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. They were released after treatment.
Chief Inspector Lorna Gibson said: “A report was received of a disturbance within a property at Townhead in Kirkintilloch shortly after 10.50pm on Friday night.
“Two males aged 28 and 14 have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.”
